Scientific Annals of Computer Science is an international journal devoted to papers in computer science with results which are formally stated and proved. It is mainly a forum for the dissemination of formal solutions of problems appearing in all areas of computer science. We only consider original work which has not been previously published in other journals, nor submitted simultaneously for publication elsewhere. Extended versions of papers which have previously appeared in conference proceedings are also considered; the authors should indicate this at the time of submission.

Starting with volume 17, SACS becomes an open access journal without subscription. We also produce hard copies which will be distributed in almost 170 libraries having exchanges with Cuza University "Seminar Matematic" for a long time. One hard copy of the journal is received by the corresponding author of each article published in SACS. We can produce hard copies of certain special issues devoted to conferences/workshops or issues dedicated to a computer scientist.

Scientific Annals of Computer Science is abstracted/indexed in SCOPUS, DBLP (Computer Science Bibliography), MathSciNet, Directory of Open Access Journals, EBSCO, ProQuest, ZentralBlatt MATH, Index Copernicus, Collection of Computer Science Bibliographies, Open J-Gate, Ulrich's Periodicals Directory, Genamics JournalSeek.
